Accomplishments

● Pivotal role to secure significant legal victory for the Cameroon National Oil Refinery (SONARA) in a case involving SAHARA Energy Resources Ltd who claimed SONARA $132 million before the England and Wales Commercial Court. The London High, by Mrs. Justice Cockerill, in a judgement delivered on 9th December 2024, dismissed the entire claim of SAHARA.
● Subject matter expert in CEMAC oil and gas market including consumer patterns, distribution canals, and price structure
● Recognized international and national institutional lobbying and benchmarking leader.
● Negotiated and closed premier, direct crude oil purchase contract with Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, first in 38-year SONARA history.
● Founding member/rapporteur of SONARA Ethics Committee actively participating in drafting, promotion, and implementation of corporate code of ethics and establishment of anti-corruption unit.
● Collaborated with Ministry of Water and Energy (MINEE) for successful adoption of critical importation laws and procedures of petroleum products in Cameroon.
● Led end-to-end strategic execution of USD $150 million trade finance agreement with TRAFIGURA.
● Expert documentary analyst and table-top negotiator for multiple, high profile, complex transactions including revolving finance agreement valued at EURO €83 million between ITFC Bank and Government of Cameroon to finance purchase of crude oil and refined products.
